Walker Montgomery was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky, into a family deeply rooted in country music. He is the son of John Michael Montgomery and nephew of Eddie Montgomery (from Montgomery Gentry). Although raised in a musical household, Walker was largely kept out of the public eye during his early years. Embracing his family’s legacy, Walker pursued a career in country music, blending the traditional sounds of 1990s country with a modern touch. His debut single, “Simple Town,” gained over 5 million streams on Spotify, marking his entry into the country music scene. His 2022 EP “RUST” featured “She Don’t Know,” a track that has amassed over 20 million streams worldwide. In 2023, Walker made his Grand Ole Opry debut, solidifying his place among country music’s rising stars. His music is characterized by storytelling, emotional depth, and a strong connection to his Kentucky roots.
